J. Gomez Corporation has transitioned to professional consulting services and continues to grow, leveraging decades of networking and industry experience.

With 35 years in business and a team bringing over 100 years of combined experience, we stand as a trusted industry leader.
Our story traces its roots to the early 1920s, when our CEO’s family began operating grocery stores, fast food businesses, and rental properties in Mexico. Inspired by this entrepreneurial legacy, Jose launched his own tortilla company in the early 1980s, which he successfully grew and sold. He later entered the snack food industry, where he helped pioneer organic snacks and Mexican specialty items that have since become beloved market favorites.

Sr. Project Manager / Business Dev. Executive
Joe joined the J. J. Gomez team in 2025 working to develop and lead projects in the Food and Beverage markets. Prior to joining our team, Joe spent 30+ years in Food and Beverage engineering consulting with 23 years as part of SSOE Group’s Food and Consumer Products business unit. Joe started with SSOE in 2002 as a Business Leader and Office Manager for their newly established Kalamazoo, MI office, where he led major projects while providing process engineering insight and mentorship to staff.
Trevin Sorah
Sr. Technical Project Manager
Trevin Sorah is dynamic and results-driven with a proven track record of leadership across food and beverage, manufacturing, and defense sectors. Since joining J. J. Gomez in 2025, Trevin has led high-impact projects in the Food and Beverage market while spearheading the growth of the company’s 3D Scanning and Modeling division.
Trevin brings a unique blend of operational excellence and entrepreneurial acumen. Prior to J. J. Gomez, he served as Operations Manager and Continuous Improvement/Project Manager in the snack food manufacturing industry, where he drove process optimization and operational turnaround.
His professional journey began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with distinction as an aviation maintenance technician and later as a combat marksmanship trainer / Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of a Marine Corps pistol range. Trevin earned multiple commendations for exemplary service.
Following his military career, Trevin transitioned into entrepreneurship, acquiring and transforming a firearms retail business. Through strategic restructuring and expansion, he grew annual revenue by 420%, from $250K to $1.3M, over five years before successfully exiting the business.
This entrepreneurial success opened the door to the food and beverage manufacturing sector, where Trevin applied his mechanical expertise and leadership to help revitalize a struggling snack food facility—playing a key role in its operational resurgence.
Trevin has further enhanced his project management credentials by completing a Construction Project Management course at Columbia University.
